Friday, March 10th is #SELDAY
As you may be aware, this Friday is #SELday, an effort to raise awareness for the importance of Social
Emotional Learning in the development of our students. In many cases, before students can be best positioned to learn, they must be in a good space socially and emotionally. School is designed to serve as a safe space for students, where they can put their problems to the side and be their best selves: and this is the goal. To reach the goal of ensuring our school is a safe space for all students (and community members), we need to take steps in supporting our students socially and emotionally.

This month, students at M.S.80 will be diving into many different Social Emotional Learning topics such as personal values, the value of friendship, community values and how to make our school and community better.
